I absolutely adore dogs. I've had a dog for as long as I can remember. Growing up my chores included walking, feeding, bathing, brushing and playing with our 4 golden retrievers. I am now in college and just got my first dog, a mini Australian Shephard, Ace. He is deaf and training has been a challenge but is very rewarding. He is very smart as well and picks up on signals and facial expressions. We learned how to fetch in 2 weeks with hand signals! I have never actually been a dog walker or sitter but I feel that with my experience growing up and with my own dog that I would be great at it! For being a dog walker, that would not be anything unusual because Ace and I got for several walks a day with varying distances.
