My name is Amy, 28 years old (in a month), from Augusta, Ga. I moved to Atlanta for college and received my BA in Interior Architecture. After my internship through college I decided I did not want to pursue a career in design and after graduation, March of 2004 I landed a job as an IT Recruiter. I have been working as an IT Recruiter for the past 5 years for companies such as <WEBSITE> Spherion, and Day and Zimmerman. With the economy in the condition it is, I have been laid off twice in the past 8 months. With companies laying off so many people, obviously they are not hiring and there is no need for a Recruiter. So I am currently unemployed, looking to take a break from the corporate world for the summer and looking to make some extra money pet sitting or dog walking while I look for a new job. I am also incredibly bored and would love to be able to interact with animals during this down time. I live in the Buckhead/Chastain area and willing to commute up to 20 miles. I am dedicated and committed to working an entire summer, maybe the beginning of the fall but will start looking for a job in Sept. I LOVE animals, and volunteer at the Humane Society. I have a rescue cat Zoe, and a Pom, Haley and they are my children!! I have grown up with dogs and (indoor) cats my whole life so I am one of those people that firmly believes in a pet completing your life. If you can take on the responsibility. Growing up, my mother would pick up any stray animal to neuter or spay them, and would rescue just about any animal that came her way. I will take wonderful care of your pet and love them as you would!!! I am pretty much available 7 days a week at most times of the day, so I am very flexible.
