Let me first say that I'm a "Toys R Us" kid and absolutely loooove pets!!!... always have and always will!!! I thrive on laughter and fun because I believe it is good for the soul! With that being stated, I believe in balance so I also believe in hard work and persistence in school and work! I believe in following your passions whatever they may be... I believe in God and consider myself to be a work in progress! I'm not perfect and neither are you so we already have that in common! I don't have kids of my own yet (coming to a city near you!)because I have concentrated on my career. I have dreams of travelling the world and starting my own business some day! I'm a dreamer at heart and have been told by friends and colleagues that I should have been a therapist, a life coach, a professional softball coach, a travel guide to name a few...
I'll be 30 yrs old in Jan. 2010. I live in Raleigh, NC and have lived here since 2006. Before that, I lived in Savannah, GA and Richmond, VA. I went to college in Raleigh, NC & graduated from NC State University in 2002. Since moving back to Raleigh, I have gotten married to a wonderful man, Preston, who is a City of Raleigh firefighter and a former Army soldier who served in Iraq & Korea. We do not have any children but we do have 2 cats (Raleigh Grace & Savannah Lee and a great dane named Bella Kate whom we absolutely love and adore!!!)
I work full time from 730a-5p Monday - Friday at a prominent Fortune 300 logistics company managing shipments all over the world. Preston and I plan to have children of our own, but in the meantime I am looking to become a nanny because I love children so much and believe we can learn so much from them being adults! Working in corporate America, I don't get to spend much time molding children and ensuing the passions that I have. This was one avenue I was going to pursue further! I am available nights and weekends at this time, but am available once or twice a workday if needed to let your dogs out, play, feed, etc if it is close to my work...
