I'm a 42-year-old woman with a love for animals who has always donated to both CAPS and the SPCA. I've rescued dogs and birds. I took a bird to an animal rehab sanctuary one time and fostered a big dog until it could be adopted through caps. I spoil my own animals. I'm a Big Sister through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Houston and have been matched to the 13-year-old little for five years already. We were also featured in the BBBS video a few yaers ago.

8 Years as an Owner for/of Dogs
I owned a miniature dachsund from the time she was seven to the time she passed at 15. I've also rescued a dog and fostered it until I was able to get it adopted through CAPS. I grew up with a childhood dog too.
