Kathy Larkin: Genevieve, when my kids were younger, I had a horrible time finding babysitters. How would I go about finding a babysitter now?

Genevieve Thiers: Well, the good thing is that you have many, many more options than you had before. Parents who traditionally used to look for babysitters in the 1990s and early 2000 to 2001 would have to talk to friends, go and flyer a local college or local high school, they might have gone to a babysitting agency -- but those are rather expensive. Now, you can go online. There are some wonderful alternatives online to find not only babysitters, but nannies, daycares, lots of information about child care. It's a whole new world that's opened...
