This Dog Might Be Older Than You
Were you born after 1979? Then Bella, a Labrador cross, is probably older than you. Bella was adopted in 1982 when she was about 3 years old, which makes her the world’s oldest living dog — and possibly the oldest dog EVER.
With Bella having been around for 29 years, that’s 203 in dog years!
Unfortunately, there’s no documentation of Bella’s exact date of birth, so she’ll never enter the record books. 
She’s lost all but two of her teeth and she has a bit of arthritis in her legs, but “her heart is strong and she can still potter around the garden,” says owner David Richardson, 76. In fact, just last year at a dog show, Bella competed in a team with three other “family” dogs and even beat younger pedigrees to the top prize.
We want to know what kind of pet care routine the Richardsons followed! How sweet does she look?

That is truely amazing & here I was thinking I was special. My oldest dog Lucky just turned 17. I think I named him right. I can’t believe he has lived this long. I have had him ever since I was 12 yrs old. I wish he would live to be 29! That would be great. He is just starting to now show his age. He has arthritis but he can still walk just not that fast & he is going blind. He has cataracts in both eyes & his hearing is going too but he still gets around pretty good. His heart is strong & the vet said he doesn’t even have a heart murmur which is very unusual for a dog his age.

How wonderful for sweet Bella, she looks so loved and fortunate to have those gentle arms around her. We all need to know her success diet and regiment.
